A shoe line with a dream to make great strides in the ongoing effort to save pets in peril put its best foot forward by showing a sneak preview of the footwear to the famous faces who attended an Emmy Gifting Lounge.
Los Angles-based ChromeBones, which will launch the STEPS shoe collection this holiday season, is tying their concern for shelter dogs in with their shoe line by donating a portion of the proceeds from each pair of STEPS shoes purchased to local and national charities which provide comfort and care to homeless companion animals. ?We were really shocked by how many pets are being killed each year in U.S. shelters, we sincerely want to do something to change the statistics and to educate people on how to put an end to pet overpopulation,? said co-founders Tommy Wang and Adrian Beyas.
Bringing attention to the paws cause, Trevor? the tail-wagging mascot for STEPS shoes- schmoozed with the stars who stopped by to show their support for the philanthropic footwear line, including Modern Family?s Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, Rico Rodriguez and Nolan Gould; That?s so Raven?s Kyle Massey, former One life to Live star Kamar de los Reyes and Dancing with the Stars hoofer Tony Dovolani.
