Assistant Professor of Psychology, Behavioral Sciences ...

PRIMARY DUTY: This position will teach undergraduate psychology courses within the Department of Behavioral Sciences.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Teach undergraduate psychology courses including educational psychology, developmental psychology, and experimental psychology as well as other electives as needed; Oversee student advisement; Supervise undergraduate or graduate student research as appropriate; Participate in department, college, and university committees and initiatives; Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Earned doctorate (ABD considered) by start date; evidence of successful college level teaching

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Evidence of accomplishments or strong potential for success in research, publication, or grant writing

WORKING CONDITIONS: Typical classroom and office conditions with student focused office hours required

EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS USED: Typical classroom and office equipment

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
