Family literacy centre opening | Local | News | The London Free Press

Families in London will have one more place to go for early learning support when a new family literacy centre opens at Knollwood Park public school.

The centre, slated to open this fall, is one of 17 centres opening across the province, the Education Ministry announced.

The centres offer free services for families with children up to age six to build literacy, numeracy and social skills through stories, music and play. Families don?t have to pre-register for services.

The announcement raises the number of family literacy centres across Ontario to 172, including seven in the London area.
