when do u purchase auto insurance on a new car?
Ok so i know you need auto insurance on a automobile for you to be able to legally drive it, but does this mean i should go pick out the automobile i want (fill out the paperwork ect), go get my automobile insurance, then pick up the car?

usually, you can call from the automobile dealer and give your insurance agent the info on the automobile and you are good to go. the dealer and the agent will handle everything for you

It means you should notify your agent you are looking for a new automobile so he can get everything except the actual automobile information together. Once you have settled on the one you want, call and give him make, model, year and VIN. While you are finishing up the paper work at the dealer he will get your card faxed to you so you can drive your new automobile off the lot.
